We had another great camping weekend.  This time we were at Kettle Moraine State
Forest near Whitewater, Wisconsin.  We had a big group - 21 Scouts and 10
Leaders.

The Philmont Crew came out with us on Friday night to our campsite at Pinewoods
Group Camp.  On Saturday morning they left to hike on the Ice Age Trail.  The
traveled over 12 miles with full packs to a trail shelter where they spent Saturday
night.  On Sunday they hiked another five miles to the end of their route.

The rest of the Troop remained at Pinewoods and spent Saturday getting in about
five or six miles of hiking on the Scuppernong Trails.  We also visited the State
Forest Headquarters and Museum.  The weather was good with the rain holding off
and the sun peeking out occasionally.  After dark on Saturday night, the clouds
cleared out to make way for a beautiful full moon.

Our newest Scouts showed they know how to pack for a weekend trip, cook pretty
good meals, set up a tent, and sing up a storm at our Saturday night camp fire.
