Directions to Devil’s Lake
Depending on traffic, the camp is about three hours away
Head north on 90 to just before Wisconsin Dells, and follow the US 12, Baraboo exit.
Head south past Baraboo, about nine miles south of 90, to 159; turn left and follow
the signs to the park entrance.
Directions to Hoover
Depending on traffic, the camp is about an hour and a half away
Head south (east) on 294 to 88 west. Stay on 88 past Aurora to the exit for Sugar
Grove (IL 56) and head south to the exit for Ill 47 south. Stay on 47 through
Yorkville and across the Fox River. At the top of the hill should be a sign for Hoover,
turn right and head west for approximately 2 miles and you will see the Hoover Scout
Camp on the right.
Directions to Mauthe Lake
Depending on traffic, camp is about two and a half hours
Head north on 294 and follow the 894 bypass around Milwaukee. Soon you will pick
up 41/45 North and stay on this route toward Fon-du-lac. Stay to the right and follow
45 past West Bend to Kewaskum. Turn right on 28 and head west across the
Milwaukee River and turn north on S and follow the signs through New Fane to
GGG. Turn north and after about 1.5 miles will be the entrance to Mauthe Lake.
Directions to Odakota
Depending on traffic, the camp is about an hour and a half away
Head north on 294 into Wisconsin to WS 50. Exit and head west for about 17 miles
to County P and turn right (north). After approximately 2 miles you will see the sign
for the Scout Camp on the right. Enter the campground and we will be staying in the
cabin right off the large parking lot.
Directions to Rockcut
Depending on traffic, the camp is about an hour away
Head north on 90 just past Rockford to the Harlem Ave. exit (mile marker 66). Head
west and follow the signs to the state park, then into the group campground.
Directions to Silver Springs
Depending on traffic, the camp is about an hour and a half away
Head west on Interstate 88 just past Aurora to Ill 56 (Sugar Grove). Stay on 56 to
the exit for Yorkville (47 and 30 South). Head south until you reach Ogden Road (Ill
34) and turn right. Head west into Plano and at the third stop light, I believe is Fox
Road, you will see a sign for Silver Springs, turn left and follow that road until you
cross the Fox River and although the state park is on the left, the entrance to the
campground is on the right. The parking lot is about two blocks in and the camp is
down the hill across the road.
Directions to Sol Crown
Depending on traffic, the camp is about an hour away
Head north on 294 to Ill 173 (Rosecrans), head west, and just before Spring Grove
is Wilmot Road. Turn right, to County C in Wilmot, Wisconsin, turn right on C, and
head east to county B, turn right and head south about one block and the
campground is on the left.
Directions to Turkey Run
Depending on traffic, this camp is two and a half hours away
Head south (east) on 94 into Indiana to US 65, turn south; drive to IN 2 (exit for
Lowell) and exit west. After 8 miles, IN 41 will intersect and you will turn south (left).
Follow 41 south past US 74 and near IN 47 you will see the signs for Turkey Run
State Park.
Directions to Warren Dunes

Head south on I-94 through the city and east into Indiana. Continue toward Detroit
into Michigan. After entering Michigan, exit at Bridgeman (#16) and head south on
Red Arrow Road about 2 miles. There should be signs directing the way to the
State Park.
Directions to Camp Dan Beard
The drive is less than half an hour.
Take the Tri-State Tollway (I-294) north to Lake Cook Road. Exit at Lake Cook and
turn left (west) about 2/3 mile to Portwine Road. Turn left (south) onto Portwine.
Camp Dan Beard comes up quickly on the right side of the road. It has a red Forest
Preserve District sign.
